Rapport protects sensitive information you read or enter into the browser. All you need to do is install Rapport and instruct it to protect websites which you log in to, read, or send sensitive information to. When you open Safari or Firefox, the Rapport icon appears in or next to the browser's address bar.
The icon is green when Rapport protects your communication with the website, and is grey when the communication is not protected. (If you are using a screen-reader, an appropriate message indicating the protection status of the site will be announced as well.)
By default, Rapport only protects a few websites that work directly with Trusteer. However, you can make Rapport protect all websites which you log in to, read, or send sensitive information to. You will need to manually instruct Rapport which additional websites it should protect.
To instruct Rapport to protect your communication with a specific website:
1. Go to the website.
2. Click the grey Rapport icon.
3. Click the Protect This Site button.
4. Rapport's Real Time Monitor will now show the site is protected:
